Mitch Ryder, born William Sherille Levise Jr. in Hamtramck, Michigan, fronted Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels from 1964 to 1966, delivering high-energy rock and soul. His signature hits include "Jenny Take a Ride" and the Top Five smash "Devil with a Blue Dress On/Good Golly Miss Molly." Inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame in 2017, Ryder has continued recording, releasing albums in the U.S. and Europe.
