About Gary U.S. Bonds
Gary U.S. Bonds, born Gary Levone Anderson in Jacksonville, Florida, is an R&B and rock and roll singer who rose to prominence in the early 1960s. His signature hit "Quarter to Three" reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1961 and was later recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. He experienced a career resurgence in the 1980s through collaborations with Bruce Springsteen and Steven Van Zandt.
