About Wayne Nelson
Wayne Nelson is an American bassist and lead vocalist who joined Little River Band in 1980 and has served as the group's frontman since 1999. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he contributed vocals and bass to 23 Little River Band albums. Working with producer Sir George Martin on the album "Time Exposure," Nelson sang lead on hits including "The Night Owls" and shared vocals with Glenn Shorrock on "Take It Easy on Me," the band's last top-10 U.S. single in 1982.
