About TG Sheppard
T.G. Sheppard, born William Neal Browder in Humboldt, Tennessee, achieved remarkable success in country music with 22 number-one hits between 1974 and 1986. His breakthrough came with "Devil in the Bottle" in 1974, followed by 14 consecutive chart-toppers from 1980 to 1982. Named Best New Male Artist in 1976, he was a friend of Elvis Presley and later hosted a show on SiriusXM's Elvis Radio.
