Jessi Colter, born Mirriam Rebecca Joan Johnson in Phoenix, Arizona, is a country singer who achieved crossover success with her 1975 hit "I'm Not Lisa," which topped the country charts and reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her gold-certified album I'm Jessi Colter established her as a major voice in country music. She was featured on Wanted! The Outlaws (1976), the first platinum-certified country album, alongside Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Tompall Glaser.
