About Ron Isley
Ron Isley is the lead singer and founding member of the Isley Brothers, formed in the mid-1950s. The group achieved major success with hits including "Shout" (1959), "Twist and Shout" (1962), and "It's Your Thing" (1969), which earned them a Grammy Award. The Isley Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Isley collaborated with composer Burt Bacharach on the 2003 album "Here I Am: Isley Meets Bacharach."
