About Bobby “Boris” Pickett
Bobby 'Boris' Pickett was an American singer-songwriter and comedian who achieved fame with his 1962 novelty hit 'Monster Mash,' which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The song featured his Boris Karloff impersonation and became a perennial Halloween favorite. He followed with 'Monsters' Holiday' and appeared in films including 'Lobster Man from Mars' and television shows such as 'Petticoat Junction.' He published his autobiography 'Monster Mash: Half Dead in Hollywood' in 2005.
