About Eartha Kitt
Eartha Kitt was an American singer, actress, dancer, and songwriter who began her career with the Katherine Dunham Company in the 1940s. She gained international recognition for her sultry voice and recordings including "Santa Baby" and "C'est Si Bon" in the early 1950s. She appeared on Broadway in "New Faces of 1952" and portrayed Catwoman in the final season of the Batman television series in 1967. Over her career, she received two Emmy Awards and three additional Emmy nominations.
