About Harry Wayne Casey (KC)
Harry Wayne Casey, known as KC, founded and fronted KC and the Sunshine Band, pioneering the disco genre in the 1970s. His hits include "Get Down Tonight" and "That's The Way (I Like It)," both reaching number one in 1975. Casey won Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Producer of the Year in 1978 for his work on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. He received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2002.
