Antonio Fargas is an American actor born in New York City, best known for his iconic portrayal of Huggy Bear in the 1970s television series Starsky & Hutch. His film career includes notable roles in Putney Swope, Across 110th Street, Foxy Brown, and I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. He later appeared as Doc in the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris and became the first brand ambassador for NBC's COZI TV, performing with his swing band The New Jump Blues.
