Bill and Cindy Fernandez competed on TBS's reality competition series House Rules in 2003, ultimately winning a renovated home in Katy, Texas and $50,000. Bill worked as a planner with Halliburton's Kellogg Brown & Root subsidiary, while Cindy pursued a career as a jazz singer. The couple tackled extensive home renovation challenges including plumbing and kitchen work they had never attempted before.
