Cindy Williams was an American actress who gained fame as Shirley Feeney on the hit sitcom "Laverne & Shirley" (1976-1982), which became the #1-rated show on television. She first appeared as the character on "Happy Days" before the spinoff series. Williams also starred in notable films including George Lucas's "American Graffiti" (1973) and Francis Ford Coppola's "The Conversation" (1974). She received a Golden Globe nomination in 1978 and made her Broadway debut in "The Drowsy Chaperone" in 2007.
