John Schneider is an American actor and country music singer born in Mount Kisco, New York. He gained fame as Bo Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard (1979-1985) and later portrayed Jonathan Kent in Smallville (2001-2011). His country music career produced multiple number-one hits including "I've Been Around Enough to Know" and "Country Girls." He has released nine studio albums and appeared in numerous film and television projects.
