Debbie Gibson is an American singer-songwriter and actress who became the youngest female artist to write, produce, and perform a Billboard Hot 100 number-one single with "Foolish Beat." Her debut album "Out of the Blue" (1987) achieved triple platinum certification, and she was named ASCAP Songwriter of the Year in 1989 alongside Bruce Springsteen. She has sold over 16 million albums worldwide and appeared in Broadway productions including "Les Misérables," "Grease," "Chicago," and "Cabaret."
