About David Mead
David Mead is a pop singer-songwriter born in Syosset, New York, who released his debut album "The Luxury of Time" on RCA Records in 1999. His songs have been featured in multiple films including "Boys and Girls," "The Sweetest Thing," and "National Lampoon's Van Wilder." He has toured with John Mayer, Fountains of Wayne, Liz Phair, and Joe Jackson. Based in Nashville, Mead has released nine studio albums and co-founded the power trio Elle Macho.

Mead co-founded the power trio Elle Macho, releasing the EP "VoVo" in 2016. After a seven-year hiatus from solo work, he released "Cobra Pumps" in 2019. His ninth studio album "January, San Fernando" was released on Bandcamp in April 2025.
