About Mary Black
Mary Black is an acclaimed Irish folk and Celtic singer from Dublin who achieved international recognition with her 1989 triple-platinum album 'No Frontiers.' Her 1987 album 'By the Time it Gets Dark' became her first multi-platinum release in Ireland. She performed at London's Royal Albert Hall following her 1991 album 'Babes in the Wood' and contributed to the landmark 1992 compilation 'A Woman's Heart.' Over a career spanning more than four decades, she received the RTÉ Lifetime Achievement Award and The Late Late Show Legend Award.
