Billy Davis Jr. is a singer best known as a member of The 5th Dimension, the vocal group that recorded hits including "Up, Up and Away" and the chart-topping "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In" medley. With wife Marilyn McCoo, he scored a number one hit with "You Don't Have to Be a Star" and co-hosted a CBS summer variety series in 1977, making them the first African-American married couple to host a network television show.
