About Terry Sylvester
Terry Sylvester is an English musician and songwriter from Liverpool who co-founded The Escorts in the early 1960s before joining The Swinging Blue Jeans from 1966 to 1969. He joined The Hollies in late 1968, replacing Graham Nash, and contributed to hits including "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother." As a songwriter for The Hollies, he penned tracks including "Gloria Swansong," "Pull Down the Blind," and "Cable Car." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
