About Sal Valentino

Sal Valentino, born Salvatore Willard Spampinato in San Francisco, served as lead singer of The Beau Brummels, whose hits "Laugh, Laugh" and "Just a Little" reached the top 20 in 1965. The band contributed to early country rock with albums "Triangle" and "Bradley's Barn," and appeared in the 1965 film "Village of the Giants" and on "The Flintstones." Valentino later fronted Stoneground and released solo albums beginning in 2006.
