About Norman Wright
Norman Wright was the lead tenor of The Del-Vikings, one of the first successful racially integrated doo-wop groups formed at Pittsburgh Air Force Base in 1955. He sang lead vocals on the group's signature hit "Come Go with Me," which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over one million copies. The group performed on The Ed Sullivan Show, American Bandstand, and at Alan Freed's Brooklyn Paramount shows. Wright was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2005.
