About Rikki Rockett
Rikki Rockett, born Richard Allan Ream, is the drummer for glam metal band Poison, which has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. He co-founded the band and performed on hits including "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and the 1986 album "Look What the Cat Dragged In." Beyond Poison, he released solo album "Glitter 4 Your Soul" in 2003, co-created the comic book series "Sisters of Mercy," and founded Rockett Drum Works Inc. in 2007.
Since this interview
Rockett battled throat cancer in 2015 and was declared cancer-free in July 2016, celebrating six years cancer-free in 2021. He co-formed rock supergroup Devil City Angels in 2015, releasing a self-titled debut album. He was scheduled for induction into the Metal Hall of Fame in January 2026.
