About Rick Nielsen
Rick Nielsen is the lead guitarist, primary songwriter, and leader of rock band Cheap Trick, formed in 1973. The band achieved a #1 US single with "The Flame" and radio staples including "I Want You to Want Me" and "Surrender." Nielsen is known for his extensive custom guitar collection from Hamer Guitars, including a famous five-neck guitar. He recorded with John Lennon in 1980 and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
