About Paul Gurvitz
Paul Anthony Gurvitz is a British guitarist, bassist, vocalist, and record producer born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. He achieved chart success with The Gun's "Race with the Devil" in 1968, reaching number four in England and topping charts across Europe. He fronted Three Man Army and Baker Gurvitz Army alongside Cream drummer Ginger Baker, recording three albums between 1974 and 1976. Gurvitz also collaborated with The Graeme Edge Band and worked with artists including Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Elton John.
