About Mickey Dolenz
Micky Dolenz served as lead vocalist and drummer for The Monkees, the band formed for the Emmy-winning television sitcom that aired from 1966 to 1968. He contributed vocals to hit songs including "Last Train to Clarksville," "I'm a Believer," and "Pleasant Valley Sunday." The band pioneered early use of the Moog synthesizer on the rock recording "Daily Nightly." Dolenz continued performing with various Monkees reunions through 2021 and pursued solo recording projects.
