About Marina Arsenijevic
Marina Arsenijevic is a Serbian-born American pianist and composer known for her classical crossover work and cultural diplomacy. She gained international recognition with her Emmy-nominated PBS program "Marina at West Point: Unity through Diversity" and her album "My Balkan Soul," which became a best-seller in eleven European countries. She performs on a distinctive transparent plexiglass grand piano and has received honors including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and Serbia's Knighthood of St. Sava.
Since this interview
Arsenijevic opened the 72nd Anniversary commemoration of Auschwitz liberation at West Point in 2017. She received the Tesla Science Foundation's Gold Award in 2022 for her composition "Tesla Rhapsody" and is composing her first Broadway musical "Life of Tesla," expected to debut in 2026.
