About John Conlee
John Conlee is a country music singer from Versailles, Kentucky, who achieved his first chart success with "Rose Colored Glasses" in 1978. He recorded seven number-one hits on Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and earned the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Male Vocalist in 1979. A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1981, Conlee charted 32 singles across 11 studio albums and raised over $140,000 for Feed the Children while helping organize Farm Aid concerts.
