Engelbert Humperdinck, born Arnold George Dorsey in Madras, British India, became one of the world's best-selling recording artists with over 140 million records sold worldwide. His 1967 hit "Release Me" topped the UK Singles Chart, followed by major successes including "The Last Waltz," "There Goes My Everything," and "A Man Without Love." He represented the United Kingdom at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest and maintained an active touring and recording career spanning six decades.
