Barbara Harris was the lead vocalist and founding member of The Toys, a 1960s pop girl group from Jamaica, Queens, New York. The group achieved major success with their 1965 hit "A Lover's Concerto," based on Bach's "Minuet in G Major," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over two million copies. The Toys also charted with "Attack!" in 1966 and appeared on television programs including Hullabaloo and Shindig!
