About Paul Kantner
Paul Kantner was a founding member of Jefferson Airplane, one of the defining psychedelic rock bands of the 1960s. As rhythm guitarist, singer, and songwriter, he co-wrote iconic songs including "Wooden Ships" with David Crosby and Stephen Stills, and "Volunteers." He led Jefferson Starship from 1974 through 1984 and again from 1992 until his death. Jefferson Airplane was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
