About Ian Hunter

Ian Hunter Patterson is an English singer, songwriter, and musician who served as lead vocalist of rock band Mott the Hoople from 1969 to 1974. He achieved solo success with "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and wrote "Cleveland Rocks," which became the theme for The Drew Carey Show. His partnership with guitarist Mick Ronson and work on Mott the Hoople's David Bowie-assisted hit "All the Young Dudes" remain career highlights.
