About Tim Rice
Sir Tim Rice is an English lyricist whose collaborations have shaped musical theater and film. His partnership with Andrew Lloyd Webber produced Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Evita, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1979. Rice later worked with Disney, winning Academy Awards for Aladdin's "A Whole New World" and The Lion King's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." He also created Chess with ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.
