About Kris Allen
Kris Allen won American Idol Season 8 and launched a recording career with his self-titled debut album in 2009. His single "Live Like We're Dying" achieved over 1.7 million in combined sales and peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. Allen released multiple studio albums including "Thank You Camellia" and "Letting You In," earning a BMI Pop Music Award in 2011. He continued touring and releasing music independently through the 2020s.
