About Mickey Dolenz
Mickey Dolenz is best known as the drummer and vocalist of The Monkees, the band formed for the Emmy-winning television sitcom that aired from 1966 to 1968. He provided lead vocals on hits including "I'm a Believer," "Last Train to Clarksville," and "Pleasant Valley Sunday," and wrote "Randy Scouse Git" for the album Headquarters. Beyond music, Dolenz has worked extensively in voice-over for Saturday morning cartoons and published his autobiography in 1993.

Dolenz released the EP "Dolenz Sings R.E.M." in 2023, featuring four R.E.M. songs and earning praise from Michael Stipe. The Monkees Farewell Tour concluded November 14, 2021 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. At age 80, he launched the "60 Years of the Monkees" tour on February 12, 2026 in Solana Beach, California.
