About The Grass Roots
Rob Grill was the lead singer and bassist of The Grass Roots, a rock band formed in 1966. He sang on all of the band's Top 40 singles, including "Midnight Confessions," "Let's Live For Today," and "Temptation Eyes." Grill composed 16 songs for the group and made 16 appearances on Dick Clark's American Bandstand. After the band broke up in the late 1970s, he reformed The Grass Roots with new members and continued touring.
