About Cheap Trick
Rick Nielsen is the lead guitarist and primary songwriter for the rock band Cheap Trick, formed in the 1970s. The band achieved breakthrough success with their 1979 live album At Budokan, which sold over three and a half million copies in America. Their hits include "I Want You to Want Me" and the chart-topping "The Flame" in 1988. Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
