About Malcolm Watson
Malcolm Watson, known as the Barefoot Violinist, is a British-born violinist who performs barefoot while dancing. He won a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music at age fifteen and secured a CBS recording deal at age twenty-five in 1974. Watson created the Nouveau Classical fusion music style in the early 1990s and was featured in a British Television documentary film titled Busker. He was named a World Legacy Project Living Legacy in 2009.
