About Michelle Mangione
Michelle Mangione is a songwriter and drummer based in Southern California who has collaborated with Grace Slick on multiple projects, including the fundraiser single "The Edge of Madness" and the 2009 track "What is a Saint." She has performed with jazz saxophonist Buddy Collette and guitarist Robben Ford, and taught drums for over twenty years, including at the Percussion Institute of Technology. Mangione developed a pedal-driven drum set that allows her to play drums with her feet while simultaneously playing acoustic guitar.
