About Bob Carlisle
Bob Carlisle is an American contemporary Christian singer and songwriter born in Santa Ana, California. He performed with the band The Allies from 1984 to 1993 before launching a solo career. Carlisle co-wrote the hit song "Butterfly Kisses" with Randy Thomas, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 1997 and multiple Dove Awards. His album "Butterfly Kisses (Shades of Grace)" achieved double platinum status. He also worked as a session singer for mainstream artists including Barry Manilow, Pat Benatar, Poison, and REO Speedwagon.
