About Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball as a shortstop and third baseman for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees. A three-time MVP and 14-time All-Star, he hit 696 career home runs and won 10 Silver Slugger Awards. Rodriguez helped the Yankees capture the 2009 World Series championship and retired in 2016 after playing his final game as a designated hitter.

Rodriguez played his final game on August 12, 2016, going 1-for-4 with an RBI double against Tampa Bay. He joined the Yankees' front office as special advisor that same month, then became an ESPN Sunday Night Baseball analyst in 2018. As of 2024, he works as an MLB studio analyst for Fox Sports alongside Kevin Burkhardt, David Ortiz, and Derek Jeter.
