About Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson
Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson played linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys from 1975 to 1979, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 1978 and winning Super Bowl XII. Drafted 18th overall in 1975, he became the first NFL player to publicly confess addiction to drugs and alcohol and enter rehabilitation. He authored "Out of Control: Confessions of an NFL Casualty" in 1987, won the Texas lottery, and later became a philanthropist and entrepreneur focused on East Austin community development.
