About Joni Sledge

Joni Sledge was an American singer-songwriter and music producer, best known as a member of the disco group Sister Sledge. She provided lead vocals on hits including "Lost in Music" and "Reach Your Peak," and was part of the group that recorded the Grammy-nominated anthem "We Are Family." She co-wrote and co-produced Sister Sledge's 1998 album "African Eyes" and released a solo album in 2009.
