About Nile Rodgers

Nile Rodgers is a guitarist, songwriter, and record producer who co-founded the band Chic with bassist Bernard Edwards. The group achieved massive success with hits including "Le Freak," which became Atlantic Records' only triple platinum single at the time, and "Good Times," one of the most-sampled songs in history. As a producer, Rodgers shaped landmark albums including David Bowie's "Let's Dance" and Madonna's "Like a Virgin."
