About Livingston Taylor
Livingston Taylor is an American singer-songwriter and folk musician, brother of James Taylor. He achieved Billboard success with hits including "I Will Be in Love with You," "I'll Come Running," and "First Time Love." Beyond performing, Taylor has taught at Berklee College of Music for over three decades, mentoring students including John Mayer, Charlie Puth, and Gavin DeGraw. He authored the textbook "Stage Performance" and regularly performs with symphony orchestras.

Taylor released a 2019 box set "LIVe - 50 Years of Livingston Taylor Live" featuring 87 previously unreleased recordings spanning 1969-2016. In 2025, he released "Symphonic Steps," recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra at Maida Vale BBC Studio in London, fulfilling his plans to record orchestral arrangements discussed in the interview.
