About Wendy Makkena
Wendy Makkena is an American actress born in Manhattan, New York. She gained widespread recognition as Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act (1992) and its sequel. Her career spans film, television, and theater, including a Broadway debut in Pygmalion (1987) opposite Peter O'Toole. Notable credits include Air Bud (1997), Oliver Beene (2003-04), and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019). Beyond acting, she founded Ruby Rockets Fruit & Veggie Ice Pops in 2013.
