Dr. Julie Holland is a psychiatrist and author specializing in psychopharmacology. She served nine years as weekend attending physician at Bellevue Hospital's psychiatric emergency room, documented in her 2009 memoir Weekends at Bellevue. She edited comprehensive guides on MDMA and cannabis, authored Moody Bitches in 2015 and Good Chemistry in 2020, and serves as medical advisor to MAPS for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy research.
