About Linda Ellerbee
Linda Ellerbee was a veteran journalist, author, and television producer who co-hosted NBC News Overnight with Lloyd Dobyns and later hosted Nick News with Linda Ellerbee for twenty-five years. Her production company, Lucky Duck Productions, produced award-winning programming including the Emmy-winning series Our World. She authored the memoir And So It Goes: Adventures in Television and received multiple Peabody Awards and Emmys throughout her career.

Since this interview
Ellerbee retired from television in 2015 after forty-four years in journalism. She received the Paul White Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association in 2011 and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Children's Television at the Banff International Media Festival the same year.
