Leigh Taylor-Young is an American actress whose television career began in 1966 with Peyton Place, where she played Rachel Welles across seventy episodes. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for I Love You, Alice B. Toklas in 1968 and appeared in the science fiction classic Soylent Green. Her role as Mayor Rachel Harris on Picket Fences earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 1994. She also appeared on Dallas and Beverly Hills 90210.
