About Dennis the Menace
Jay North starred as Dennis Mitchell in the CBS television series Dennis the Menace from 1959 to 1963, becoming one of the most recognizable child actors of his era. He appeared in films including Zebra in the Kitchen and Maya, and reprised his role in the Maya television series on NBC. North later provided voice work for animated series including The Banana Splits Adventure Hour and The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show before stepping away from acting and eventually returning to participate in the nostalgia circuit.
