About Judy Davis
Judy Davis is an Australian actress whose career spans film, television, and stage. She earned Academy Award nominations for A Passage to India (1984) and Husbands and Wives (1992), and won Emmy Awards for Serving in Silence (1995) and Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows (2001). With nine AACTA Awards, she holds the record for most wins by an Australian performer.
Since this interview
Davis continued her acclaimed career with roles in The Dressmaker (2015), the Netflix series Ratched (2020), and Nitram (2021), which premiered at Cannes and earned her another AACTA Award. In March 2026, she was announced as part of the cast for the ITV series Two Birds.
