About John Ratzenberger
John Ratzenberger is an American actor and voice artist born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He earned two Primetime Emmy nominations for his role as Cliff Clavin on NBC's Cheers from 1982 to 1993. He became a signature voice of Pixar Animation Studios, voicing Hamm in the Toy Story franchise and characters in numerous other Pixar films including Monsters, Inc., Cars, The Incredibles, Up, and Inside Out. His extensive voice work and cameos have made him one of the highest-grossing actors of all time.
Since this interview
Ratzenberger continued his Pixar voice work in films including Inside Out and partnered with Kevin Sorbo on the faith-based film East Texas Miracle. He authored We've Got it Made in America: A Common Man's Salute to an Uncommon Country and serves on Pepperdine University's board.
